Publications, we would like to welcome you to Fifth Grade Common Core Daily Language Practice, a daily practice and assessment program covering all 19 of the Fifth Grade Common Core Language Standards. The Format We’ve created four Core Language Practice Cards and one Core Card Test for each of the 19 Common Core Language Standards. Each Core Language Practice Card and the Core Test lists the Core Standard as student-friendly “I Can” statements, so the students can clearly see what standard they are practicing and being tested on. We suggest that you use the Core Language Practice Cards as practice or bell work Monday-Thursday, and administer the Core Card Test on Friday for a grade. Daily Record Sheets We’ve created Daily Record Sheets so that students can track their progress on the Core Language Practice Cards and the Core Card Tests. Answ er Pages and Rubrics Beginning on page 101, you will fi nd answers to all of the Core Language Practice Cards and the Core Language Tests. We’ve created rubrics for every writing task to make your job of grading much easier.
