The goal of this yearly symposium is to encourage international communication and cooperation in space optics and promote the innovation, research, and engineering development, initiated by the Sino-Holland Space Optical Instruments Joint Laboratory. The symposium focuses on key innovations of space-based optical instruments and applications, and the newest developments in theory, technology, and applications in optics in both China and Europe. It will provide an opportune moment for exchanges on space optical area and information on current and planned optical missions. The speakers include distinguished guests from ESA, CNSA, NSO as well as renowned European and Chinese universities, space institutes and companies. There were nearly 60 presentations given by speakers from about 40 Chinese and Europeangovernmentsectors,enterprises,organizations,anduniversities.Thetotal number of participants reached 150.
