The task force was formed in 1994 as a group of experts on safety critical software. The members come from regulatory authorities and/or their technical support organization. Effect on SSM supervisory and regulatory task The effect of the report is high as it presents a common view on impor-tant issues by experts from international regulatory organizations, even though the report is not a regulation or guide.
