President, Sky Advertising
Jackie Barker, has been involved in the advertising,
marketing and public relations industry for twenty-five
years. After managing two Brevard County agencies
for over twelve years, she started SKY Advertising, a
full-service advertising agency in January 2003. From
a small office in her home, the company continues to
grow and currently employs a staff of five. SKY has
won over sixty ADDY Awards, including two Best of
Show Awards. SKY manages a wide variety of clients,
including hotels, area attractions, restaurants, auto
dealers, retail and a community college.
Jackie is also a community volunteer and serves on
many boards. She is currently the Immediate Past
Governor of the American Advertising Federation,
Fourth District, Secretary for the Eastern Region of
the American Advertising Federation, Past Chair and
current Vice- President of Development of the East Coast
Zoological Society, Director for United Way of Brevard
County, Past Chair and current Executive Committee
member for the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of
Commerce Board of Directors.

Award.
Jackie is also an award-winning author of the parenting
book, “Just Me: What Your Child Wants You To Know
About Parenting.” She enjoys speaking to groups
across the country on parenting skills and has appeared
on all major TV networks and been featured in numerous
national magazines.
On Wednesday nights, you will find Jackie behind the 3
microphone as a DJ at Texas Children’s Hospital’s Radio
Lollipop.
