When you think of high school, you think of separate social elk ues, unnecessary drama, tons of homework and really early mornings. While that may be true, as these 180 days of high school come to an end we realize success is a choice and it is our choice. We look back on the effort, time, and hard work we have put into this school year and what truly makes us Battlefield. What separates the student body throughout Battlefield from other schools is the diverse and unique characteristics each class holds within the school. Not only do we work together, but we are versatile, musical, spirited, patriotic, proud and inseparable. We are one. This is what makes us... Battlefield. Kendall Williams WfcaZ ifrxik&i u4 Student Life What makes us Battlefield is the pride and spirit that we have for our school and the people in it. Throughout Spirit Week, homecoming festivities and other school events the unique character of our school shines through. Togas, “The Den”, “Can I get a Woot Woot?!"', and DECA’s Annual “Pink Out” are just some words and phrases that encapsulate the variety of traditions that make Battlefield stand out. Student life always welcomes the opportunity for the classes of BHS to show their pride, spirit, individual creativity and amazing accomplishments - both inside and outside the walls of our school. This year students, teachers, and faculty worked hard to make our school widely recognized locally and nationally for its academics, athletics and visual and performing arts. Each person who walks through the halls of our school is unique, intelligent, and gifted in their own way. As the high school with the largest population in Virginia, we make up a melting pot of diverse, well-rounded students, who know what it means to be a Bobcat.
