Most Excellent Companion Pugh was born February 11, 1947 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He
attendedBowlingGreenStateUniversityandin1967joinedtheU.S.Army. SenttoVietnam,he
istherecipientofthePurpleHeart.
HeiscurrentlyemployedbytheLoganCountyWaterPollutionControlDistrictwhereheisthe
GeneralManager.
He married the former Virginia (Ginny) Williams. Garis has two children from a previous
marriage–KirstenandJoshua. AllareactivelyinvolvedintheEasternStarandMasonicbodies
attheBellefontaineMasonicCenter.
MostExcellentCompanionPugh,for25years,wasanactivememberoftheNationalSkiPatrol.
HealsoservedasOhioRegionSkiandToboggantrainingchairman.
