Furthermore the 28th European Congress ofArach- nologywas announced. Itwill takeplace in summer 2014 in Torino, Italy, organised by Marco Isaia and his team. It is the first ICA to be held in Asia. The meeting will be organized and hosted by an Asian Organizing Committee ofAffiliates ofthe International Society ofArachnology. Asian and International Keynote speakers and avarietyoftopical sessions (taxonomy, systematics,behaviour,physiology,ecology,biodiver- sity) and additional symposia (genus Nephila, spider silk, urbanization and arachnid diversity, systematic andbiogeographysymposiumofnonaranenoids)have beenorganized.Inaddition,therewillbeopportuni- tiesforcollectingarachnidsandexcursionsorganized forparticipants.Theprogramisnotfinalized,sopar- ticipants maypropose additional symposia, or direct generalinquiries, to the Organizing Committee; see the Symposium website (http://araneae.thu.edu.tw/ ica2013/welcome) ore-mail [email protected].
