Members Absent: Christine Sharbrough, Geraldine Tremblay. Advisors and Guests: James McGough, Trustee Emerius, Chuck Luca ‘Minutes of Nevambor 8 2014 - R, Chaput mada a mation to approve the minutes of Novernber 8, 2011 as corrected. S. Burks second, Unanimausly approved. Minutes of November 20, 2014 - R. Chaput made a motion fa approve the minutes of November 20, 2011 as corrected. A, Tabemer second. Unanimously approved. Minutes of Decombor 12, 2611 - dishibuted minutes and tabled. ‘Treasurer's Repert- P. McGalfigan’s distibuted the Treasurer's Report, Fietuins {rem Annual Appeal approximattaly $4,500. J. McGough reported that Dr. Robert Rowe ‘wha has toaned us the "Governor Bradford” and "Standing Indian” has offered thern to the Museum for $10,000. We are now going Uwrough the process to make this happen. Dr. Rowe has aso given us a plaqua ofthe *Pratest’ Bas Relief and a number of books Including catalogues of the Rockwell Museum, Governor Bradford and Pilgrim Plantation written from 1620-1827 and edited by Eliot Morison. H. Leavell suggested ‘we need to create an Acquisitions Policy. A. Taberer volunteered to work with H. Leavell on this project. R. Chaput mace a motion to accapt te Treasurer's Report. H. Leavell second. Unanimously approved. Bils- P. McGaffigan presented bill for postage fo Dr. Rows in the amount of $13.25. H. Leavell made a motion fo recommeric {hat the corporation reimburse P. MoGaffigen in the ammount of $42.28. D. Johnson second. Unanimously approved. H. Leavelt submitted a bill for stamps for Fairbanks lecture postcards in the amount of $280. R, Chaput made a mation to recommend that the corporation reimburse H. Leavell in the amount of $290, &. Burks second, Unanimously approved. S. Burks presented a bill in the amount of $16 for posters that Jeff Boudreau did. Also a bill from Target for naper goods and photo storage bax for “he Faitberke lechure’ih the amount ofS27°72— Tota! $42.72; ‘D: Johnsom madera =~ motion lo reeommend that the corporation reimburse §. Burks in the amount of $42.72, H. Leavell second. Unanimously approved. H. Leavell stated we need to tak about budget for next year. D. MeGough distributed the volunteer report ta the Trustees. J. McGough reported that Cabot Park Village has requested a tour on January 25, 2012 from noon- 1:30pm, Alscussion on possible internships. H. Leavell reported we have a couple of interns for tha Spring ather interns would have fo be Summer. S. Burks made a molion ‘tp accept the Volunteer Report as presoniad. A. Tabernersecond, Unanimously approved, 480th Anniversary - Fairbanks lecture 1/18/12, 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, S. Burkes Yeported that alls sat. Have lots of publclly. T. Shaoul is helping with the relreshmenis. We have calendars of events to hand out Ban Black from ACM will be doing the sound and fighting for us. S, Busks will give the intoduction. Need help with taking doriations, graters, help with our Sale table. A. Tabetner will provide a “donated by’ sheet for the refleshment table. Set up of Town Hall (200 chairs) wit begin after §:00p.m. March event - 8. Tabemer spoke to Arlington Friends of the Drama and Regent Theater as possible venues. Both have events thet day. The Arlington Friends of the Drama may be interested in joining us for cur June event. Further Suggestions were Adingion High School's Lavell auditarium and the Town Hall. D. Johnson reported that Richerd F. Turley, Assistant Historian of the Church of Latter Day Saints wail speak on "Dallin and the Mermone” on Match 24, 2042 al 3:00 p.m. D. Johnson wil be contacting Rabert Wood, President of the Temple LDS Church In New England. D. Johnson wi make introductory remarks and expects the presentation will likely be 30-45 minutes. H. Leavell aaked # we need to de another posteard. A. Taberner suguested we put together a publicity campaign for next month. April Paul Revere event A, Tabemer reported things are riot moving forward as hoped. The date hae atil not been confimed. A. Tabemer wsil continue to contact those involved with this project. D. Johnson suggested A. Tabamer contact Nina Zanntert trom Paut Revore Memorial Association. She may be able fo help. C. Luca reported working on ‘the startup of the Middle Schon! Aft Contest ‘Website - Nothing to report, Goltections - G. Tremblay and C, Sharbrough ara stil ‘working on the Rell Francie papers, Logaigign - H: teavell teported that the Art Institute stodents wil stit be working with Us through the Spring, IMtaetceting- Nothing to seport. Strategic Planning on hold until after 180th events completod. Minutes of January 10, 2012 Page 3 Now Business - J, MoGough reported that Nancy Quigley passed away on December 16, 2011. Consensus ta make a modest donation to her charity. A. Tabemer made motion that we send a $100 contribution to lass, Adiontion Resource Exchange in Nancy Quigley's name. D.
