NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th January, 2012

8.0. 109(E}.—whereas by the notification of the Government of
Inaia In the Ministiy of Road Transport and Highways, number 8.0: 1272 (F).
tinted the 31" May, 2011, published inthe Gazetts of India, Extraordinary, Part I,
‘Secton’3, Sub-Section {i} and issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the
Notional Highways Act, 1256 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act),
the Central Govemment declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the
Sohedula annexed to the sald notification for building (widening / abc faring, atc.)
Rointenanee, management and operation of National Highway No. 2, on the
Seeteh of tari from kre. 178.780 to kin. 199.600 (Dethi-Agra Section) in Disiict
‘Agra in the State of Urtar Pradesh,

[And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in
the ‘Hindustan’ and “Amar Ujala", both dated the 8° July, 2011, under sub-
section (3) of section 3A of the said Act,

‘And whereas objections have been received and the same have been
considered and disallowed by the competent authority;

‘And whereas, in pursuance of sub-éection (1) of section 3D of the sald
‘ck the competent aulhority hes submitied Is report to the Centrat Govemment,

Now, therefore, upon receipt af the said report of the competent authority
aad in exercige of the fiowers conferrad by sub-section (1) of saction 3D of the
aad Adt the Central Government hereby declared that the fand specified in the
said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

[And further, in puteuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the
canttal Goverment hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette, the land-spenfied In the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in
the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
