This year’s EcoFest is called Energywise: Sparking Local Solutions. It takes place in Arlington Town Hall on Saturday March 7, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Students, PK-12th, are invited to submit works of art created from reduced/reused/repurposed materials. Artwork pictures and or displays must contain different uses of Renewable Energy. Tip: search the internet for renewable energy art images, it will give you some ideas to get started. Trashformations artwork will be displayed in the main auditorium during the event for view and voting by the public. New for this year: Please make sure you title your artwork. Artwork criteria are as follows: Must be comprised of 70% or more reduced/reused/repurposed materials. Must fit through a standard doorway. Must be easily movable, weighing less than 50 lbs. Cannot hang from ceiling. Can be hung from a wall. Renewable Energy at use. Must be Titled Artwork must be dropped off at the Town Hall, second floor, on Thursday, March 5th between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
