The statistics are presented in four sections: Interstate, Primary, Secondary and Urban systems, and are given as weighted averages over control sections. On the Interstate and Primary system, excluding municipalities, commercial volumes and vehicle miles of travel are also given. Section control points consist of junctions or intersections with a system highway or major traffic carrier, county, municipal or urban boundaries, or any point that reflects a traffic change.
