The genus Dendrophiha was proposed by Ponomarenko in 1993 on the basis of the type species ?Vbthn lasthidle2Zti Snellen, 1884. (D. )athidlado is allie dto D, (n) neotaphronoma Ponomarenko, 1993, but those of D, (D) aloideha difle rfrom the latter by the somewhat long gnathos and slightly sinuate valva. The shape ofvalva differ sslightly from the figur eof Ponomarenko (1993 )bu,t this differen cmeay be the geographical or individua lvariation, The female genitalia are characteristic in having the large signum.
