ACQUISITION OF LANDS
NOTICE UNDER SECTION 15 (1 ) OF TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT 1, 2 001 (T amil Nadu Act , 34 of 2002 ), READ WITH TAMIL
NADU LAND ACQUISITION LAWS (R EVIVAL OF OPERATION ,A MENDMENT AND VALIDATION )A CT , 2019 .

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below are acquired
under Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project for Highways Department , for the purpose of formation of road connectivity
from Ennore Port to Mahabalipuram (f rom 124/672 Km .t o 126/546 Km .) in Survey No.1 /1 A Part etc. , in No.95 , Karanai
Village , Tiruporur Taluk , Chengalpattu District and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation
to be awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Highways Department and
after considering the cause shown by the owner or other persons having interest on such lands , as the case may be ,
do hereby publish the following notice under sub -s ection (1 ) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act , 2001
(T amil Nadu Act , 34 of 2002 ) read with the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (R evival of Operation , Amendment and
Validation ) Act , 2019 .
NOTICE
Under sub -s ection (1 ) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act , 2001 (T amil Nadu Act, 34 of 2002 ), read
with the Tamil Nadu Land Acquisition Laws (R evival of Operation , Amendment and Validation Act , 2019 )!, the Governor of
Tamil Nadu hereby notifies that the Wet , Dry and Grama Natham lands specified in the schedule below and measuring to
an extent of 84,546 Sq . Mtrs . of lands are going to be acquired in No.95 , Karanai Village , Tiruporur Taluk , Chengalpattu
District to the same a little more or less needed for the purpose of for formation of road connectivity from Ennore
Port to Mahabalipuram (f rom 124/672 Km . to 126/546 km .) as part of Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project , Highways
Department .
The plan of the lands under acquisition are kept in the office of the Special District Revenue Officer (L and
Acquisition ), Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project , Section -V , Chennai -6 00 058 and in the office of the Special Tahsildar
(L and Acquisition ), Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project , Unit -V I, Tiruporur and may be inspected at any time during
the office hours .
