ANIMAL HUSBANDRY DAIRYING AND FISHERIES DEPARTMENT Amendment to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu General Service ர ள்‌ 2-3 *DTP—II-1(b)-(1) [1 ] 2 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part III—Sec. 1(b) NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY DAIRYING AND FISHERIES DEPARTMENT Amendment to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu General Service [G.0.Ms.No. 170, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS2), 14th December 2020, Karthigai-29, Saarvari, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2051,/ No. SRO B-1/2021.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu General Service, (Section 16 of Volume Il of the Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 2016.) The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have been come into force on and from 27th April, 2000. AMENDMENT In the said Special Rules,- (1) ‘In Part-I, under the heading Class XLVI, for the expression "Personal Assistant in Fisheries Department", the following expression shall be substituted namely:- "Deputy Director of Fisheries (Personnel) and Personal Assistant in Fisheries Department"; ஐ In Part-ll (a) for the heading "Class XLVI - Personal Assistant in Fisheries Department", the expression " "DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF FISHERIES (PERSONNEL) AND PERSONAL ASSISTANT IN FISHERIES DEPARTMENT" shall be substituted; (b) for rule 1, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "4. Constitution.-This class shall consist of the following categories, namely:- Category 1- Deputy Director of Fisheries (Personnel) Category 2 - Personal Assistant"; (c) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "2. Appointment.-Appointment to the categories specified in column (1) of the table below shall be made by the method specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof:- THE TABLE Category Method of appointment (1) (2) (1) Deputy Directoorf By promotion from among the holders Fisheries (Personnel) of the post of Personal Assistant in Fisheries Department (2) Personal Assistant in By recruitment by transfer from among Fisheries Department the holders of the post of Superintendent in Fisheries Department in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service"; Jan. 6, 2021] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 3 (d) After rule 2, as so amended, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:- "2(a). Preparation of Annual list of approved candidate.- For the purpose of drawing up of the annual list of appoved candidates for appointment to categories the crucial date on which the candidate should be qualified shall be the first September of every year. 2(0) Appointing Authority.- The appointing authority for the categories specified in column (1) of the table below shall be the authority specified in column (2) thereof:- THE TABLE Category Appointing Authority (1) (2) (1) Deputy Director of Fisheries (Personnel) Government (2) Personal Assistant Director of Fisheries"; (e) for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Qualification.-No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post of Deputy Director of Fisheries (Personnel) unless he has completed a Service of not less than one year in the post of Personal Assistant in Fisheries Department."
