LOCATION
OakwoodCollege is located five miles northwestofthe heartofthe city of
Huntsville.Huntsvilleisacosmopolitancitylocatedinthenorthcentral portion
of the state of Alabama and nestled in the beautiful Tennessee Valley at the
foothills ofthe Appalachian Mountains. It has apopulation of 160,000.
The College property consists of 1,185 acres at an elevation of 1,100 feet
above sea level. The grounds ofthe campus are appropriately landscaped and
afford a delightful setting forthe College.
Huntsville is served by the Greyhound Bus Lines and connection with other
buslinescanbemadeinpracticallyallnearbycities.Huntsvilleisalsoservedby
