In this edition of the MS International Conference, we gave special attention to the use of bibliometrics in social science. Sixteen papers from 17 universities around the world constitute the MS 2018 Girona proceedings. The book mainly presents papers with a strong orientation to modelling and simulation in general fields of research. But it also covers some papers close to the field of bibliometrics in social sciences.
