Thank you for supporting this educational experience for our students. We would like to wish all the participants the best of luck during their competition. Activity programs provide valuable lessons for our students. Through the drama program, students have learned the value of teamwork and have dedicated many hours towards developing a solid work ethic. Drama also helps build self-esteem and character along with developing the self-discipline it takes to achieve a quality performance. Participation in drama is a valuable part of the overall high school experience and is an extension of a good educational program. “We are High School”. In this world of technology where face to face communication is diminishing, high school activities continue to be a vehicle to bring communities together and promote community pride. This event enriches each student’s total educational experience and assists in promoting positive school and community relations. We are pleased with the overall results of the positive actions taken by our schools last year in promoting sportsmanship. We thank all of you at this event for being positive role models and representing your community in a positive fashion. We would like to thank the Wyoming Educators of Secondary Theatre (WEST) for their time and effort in preparing for this event. Their experience and expertise in hosting the State Drama Tournament ensures a successful event each year. We would also like to thank Central Wyoming College for opening their doors to all of us and invite you to enjoy Riverton during your stay. “Break a Leg”!
