GAZ., JAN. 15, 2008 (PAUS. 25, 1929 SAICA) 95 AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT The 3rd January, 2008 in pursuance of the provisions of Sub -section (1) of Section 34 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961), the Market Committee, Pataudi has requested the Government to acquire land under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act 1 of 1894), on payment by the said Committee of the compensation awarded under the said Act and of all other charges incurred in acquiring the said land by State Government. And, whereas, it appears to the Governor of Haryana that the land described in the specification below is needed urgently by the Market Committee, Pataudi, at its expense, for a public purpose, namely, for the construction of New Grain and Vegetable Market at Pataudi. It is hereby notified that the land described in the specification below is urgently needed for the above purpose. This notification is made under the provisions of Section 4 read with clause (c) of Sub -section (2) of Section 17 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act 1 of 1894), for the information of all to whom it may concern: In exercise of the powers conferred by the aforesaid section, the Governor of Haryana hereby authorises Revenue Officer -cum -Land Acquisition Collector, Gurgaon, with their servants and workmen for the time being engaged in the 'undertaking, to enter upon and survey any land in the locality and to do all other acts required or permitted by that section. Further, whereas, the Governor of Haryana is satisfied that the purpose for which the land is required is of an urgent importance within the meaning of clause (c) of Sub -section (2) of Section 17 of the said Act and the Governor of Haryana is of the opinion that the provisions of Sub -section (2) of the said section are thus applicable, it is hereby directed under Sub -section (4) of Section 17 of the said Act, that the provisions of Section 5A of the said Act shall not apply in regard to this acquisition. Plans of the land may be inspected in the office of the District Revenue Officer -cum -Land Acquisition Collector, Gurgaon. The Headquarter of the committee will be at Chandigarh. 2. The term of the committee will be three years. 3. The committee will decide the sample size of crop cutting experiments and also other technical matters pertaining to Threshold Yield/Actual Yield etc. 4. The committee shall meet at least once in six months or twice in a year. 5. All official members of the committee will draw their TA/DA from the respective Departments/Organizations. AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT The 3rd January, 2008 Governor of Haryana is pleased to reconstitute the following District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) for implementation of the National Agricultural Insurance Scheme as required under the operational modalities of the scheme in the districts of Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonepat, Gurgaon, Mewat, Faridabad, Karnal, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Jind, DistrictLevel Monitoring Committee (DLMC) 1. Deputy Commissioner of concerned district Chairman 2. Managing Director, Central Co-operative Bank of concerned district Member 3. District Revenue Officer of concerned district Member 4. District Statistical Officer of concerned district Member 5. District Horticulture Officer of concerned district Member 6. Representative of NSSO Member 7. District Manager, NABARD of concerned district Member 8. Lead Bank Officer of concerned district Member 9. Representative of Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited Member 10. Deputy Director of Agriculture of concerned district Member -Secretary 1. The term of the Committee will be three years. 2. The Committee will monitor the implementation of the National Agricultural Insurance Scheme in the concerned district by providing fortnightly crop condition reports and periodical reports on seasonal weather conditions, loan disbursed, extent of area cultivated etc. 3. The DLMC shall also monitor the conducting of Crop Cutting Experiments (CCEs) in the district. 4. The committee shall meet at least once in six months or twice in a year to review the implementation of the scheme. 5. All official members of the committee will draw their TA/DA from the respective Departments/ Organizations.
