Nevertheless, the Creativity ticket was earned when students were involved and participated in clubs. “America was built on creativ¬ ity from remote controls, to cars, to a cylinder can of chips. Without creativity, our nation wouldn’t be as awesome as it is,” senior Trevor St. Aubin said. The Courage ticket was for students who completed an athletic season, and the Culture ticket was earned for students who participated in fine}arts’ groups. Overall, students enjoyed the Ticket to Ride Pro¬ gram. “I think that rewarding our students was a great idea, from Student of the Week, to winning a car,” St. Aubin said. He also added, “School wasn’t the most motivational place, but you throw a car in the picture and we got excited, like a fat kid when he smells cake.” Teachers were involved with the program as well with the Teacher of the Week. The “Traveling George” was presented to them along with the honor of being acknowledged as an excep¬ tional teacher. The Portrait of a Graduate and the success of the six “C’s” brought students, teachers, and administration together to strive for the best. Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. For every minute spent sitting in a chair learn¬ ing; Students matched it by pouring copious amounts of energy and school spirit into their daily lives before, during, and after school. From singing the school’s fight song at the pep rallies to decorating for the dances, creativity was implemented in everything students did. Creativity in the styles and trends of the student body, in the creative classes students took. “Art gave me an op¬ portunity to use my creativity to do something I enjoyed,” senior Andy Bocanegra said. Students used their artistic, creativity in making the decorations for the Homecoming dance which brought emotion and magic to the night. “Creativity was one of the most important things to nurture in a student. I have had the pleasure of watching students use their imaginations and creativity enrich their lives for the past twenty-eight years,” Art Department Chair, Donna Pancini said. 06STUDENTLIFEDIVIDER
