had had just started the tenth grade and
everything was great He had made the football
team andstarted dating Cathy, afreshman cheer-

leader. couple of months into the school year,
Chad noticed that he had started to get pimples.
He figured it was because of all the sweating in
footballpractice, so he didn'tpay much attention
to it. Besides, most of hisfriends had a zit or two.
There were some people at school who had really
horrible skin, and his was nowhere near as bad.
Around Thanksgiving, though, Chad was get-
ting biggerzits on his chin andforehead, and he'd
startedgetting them on his back and chest. Chad
realized that he needed to do something about his
skin. He began washing with a special soap after
football practice and using different anti-acne
