An explanation of the abbreviations for the names of the indexed publications is shown in the "Publications Indexed" section in the back of the Index. Subject Entries Articles are arranged in alphabetical order by major subject category and then by subcategories. Major categories will contain miscellaneous entries related to that topic; subcategories will contain more specific entries. All headings for these categories are in bold. The major category headings are printed larger than the subcategory headings set in italics. Each article is indexed under at least one and no more than four subjects. The list on the next page shows the subjects and the page number on which the entries begin. Author Entries All author entries are listed in alphabetical order beginning on page 115. For two author entries, each author is listed first one time. For three or more authors, the phrase "and other authors" follows each author name; each au- thor is listed one time.
