But for this year's staff members, the challenge was met with enthusiasm and anticipation. would like I to thank the yearbook staff members for working so hard to produce such a great book. They put in a lot of time and effort in and outside of school that made a big difference. A special thanks goes to our one senior member Kaytee Ameen who contributed to the yearbook for two years. I I Enjoy! Sincerely, Ameen Carly Class of 2006 Dedicates Book To Mr. Zoltek The class of2006 would like to dedicate this year's yearbook in memory ofCoach Frank Zoltek. Coach Zoltekwas a devoted husband, loving father, enthusiastic gym teacher, inspirational coach and a mentor to all. Some ofus recall Coach Zoltek in ourearliestdays as ourelementary school phys-ed teacher. We often spent many days in the gym, jumping rope, practicing our gooseneck technique for basketball and running laps. On occasional days in the earlyspringCoach would take us down to an empty classroom. Here the entire gym classwould sitaround a horsehoe table and watch him tie flies for his upcoming fly-fishing season. Although most of us were very bored at the time we have grown to appreciate such passion. Coach Zoltek's passion for what he did, including fly-fishing is somethingwe can all admire. Coach Zoltek also taught us some important lessons early on in life, like having respect for one another and always doing our best. We can clearly remember the days he played a popular Mark Wills song titled "Don't Laugh at Me." The lyrics ofthis song are very deep and show the good person and great message that Coach Zoltek wanted to display. Coach Zoltek defined the true meaning ofa coach through his passion and years ofexperience. Coach Zoltekwas an inspirational perfectionist. His motivational attitude pushed his athletes to give a 110% everyday. Not only did he teach the game of golfand basketball he also taught his athletes about life and how to succeed. Coach Zoltekwill be remembered as a hero to mostand a motivation to all. Not onlywill his memory live on from his personality and good ways but his advice and words ofwisdom will be passed on for generations.
