In this bulletin, a. “Director” means the Director of the Student Evaluation Branch of the Department of Education; b. “Student” means a student as defined in the School Act and/or a student with mature status as defined in the Guide to Education, Senior High School Handbook. The mandatory statements (directives) are shown in boldface type. Summary of Changes The General Information Bulletin for 1996—97 contains several changes and additions to matters of policy and procedures as a result of the increased number of administrations for diploma examinations. It is most important that readers familiarize themselves with these changes as they prepare for the first additional administration in November 1996. Below is a summary of these changes and additions.
