Objective 2: Methodologies combining classical breeding and molecular breeding tools are currently used to allow faster identification and promotion of germplasm (better adapted, highly productive and with enhanced quality) that would ensure steady development of varieties. Objective 3: Identify, distribute and use germplasm carrying source of resistance to planned biotic stresses in the breeding programs to be incorporated in already accepted varieties or in new varieties to come 10 October 2016 3 Product Line Objectives ------contd.
