tures ofinterest to the public, or (iii) for the purpose ofacademic, scientific, or public research or
education. Section 3.1 states: “It is a violation ofthis Act for a person to knowingly obtain a public

information pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq., received
on August 3, 2016.

Provide the proposals from the top three vendors for the copier bid (16-007).

Your request is granted in part and denied in part. Enclosed is documentation responsive to your request.
Please note that we have removed the vendor’s reference pages pursuant to FOIA Section 7(1)(g). Also,
signatures have been redacted from the enclosed documents pursuant to FOIA Section 7(1)(b).

In addition, refer to the District’s website for the Copier Bid Analysis and the link to the BOE meeting on
June 6, 2016, Agenda Item 14.9 – Copier Bid.

To the extent you believe any part of your request has been denied, you may have a right to have this
response reviewed by the Public Access Counselor (“PAC”) at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
5 ILCS 140/9.5(a). You can file your Request for Review with the PAC by writing to:
