These linesshallbetestedto1.5MAWPforaminimumoftwohours. Thereisapproximately20ftofpipe pertanktotest. 2.10.2 Oncethedegassingoftankiscompleted,theContractorshallnotifytheNTRtomake arrangementwithFISCtoremovetankgaugingandtemperaturesensingequipmentfromthetank. TheContractorshallmaintainavapor-freeconditioninsideofthetank. Theventilationequipment shallbeexplosionproofandhaveanairrateofonechangeperhour. 2.10.3 Priortoanyworkinsideoftank,replaceanymissingstructuralmemberstorepairthe towerandtheaccesscatwalk. TheContractorshallprovideaseparatecostestimateforanyrepairof thetowerandtheaccesscatwalk. ThisshallbeanoptionforDeliveryOrdermodification. Theplanshallbe reviewedandapprovedbytheGovernmentasapartoftheWorkPlan. Abriefdiscussionofthis shallalsobeincludedinthebidproposals. 2.10.6 TheContractorshallthoroughlycleanthetankincludingthecentertower,catwalk structure,top&bottomdomes,andtheshell. Allsludge,sediment,washwaterandotherdeleterious materialfromthetankshallberemovedanddisposedofbytheContractor. Forthebidding purposes,theContractorshallestimate20barrelsofsludgetobepresentineachtank. Assume minimalresidualfuelispresent. 2.10.7 TheGovernmentwillprovidetrainassistancetoamaximumoffourhoursonanywork dayintheLowerAccessTunnelonly. Trainsupportshallonlybeprovidedduringstandard Governmentworkhoursof8amto4pm,MondaythruFriday. TheContractorshallnotifythe Governmentnolessthanone(1)dayinadvanceofthetimeandlocationthatthecontractorrequires thetrainsupport. Allloading,unloadingandsecuringofmaterialontoflatbedsshallbethe Contractor’sresponsibility. ContractorretainsresponsibilityforallitemsduringGovernment transport. 2.10.8 TheContractorshalldisconnectpipelines(twofuellinesandoneslopline)connectedto thetankbottombyremovingdouble-block-and-bleedplugvalvesand/orballvalvesandinstalling solid-plateblindflangestopreventanyflammablematerialenteringfromthetankstotheactive pipelines. Theskinvalvestoberemovedaremotoroperatedvalves,andallelectricalcomponents shallbedisengagedbyacertifiedelectricianbeforeremovingthevalvesfromthepipelines. Upon completionoftheinspection(post-repairinspection,ifthereisanyrepairdone),thevalvesshallbe installedbacktothepipelinesandtheelectricalcomponentsshallberestoredfornormaloperating conditionwithnewgasketsandbolts. TheContractorshallconfirmthesizesofvalvestoremoveat site-walk. ControlsystemtobelockedandtaggedoutbyGovernment. 2.10.9 Inspectionshallincludeassessmentsofupperdome,extension,undercatwalk,entire courseshells,lowerdome,appurtenances,accessways,vents,andcoatings.
