To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing. (Vote by Ballot) 2. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $72,068for General Government. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $16,000 for Public Safety and Health. Department $8,241 Fire 600 Forest Fire AV Mental Health 309 200 Health Officer Dog Officer 250 Building Inspector 1,000 M86D Ambulance Service 3,400 Ambulance Chassis Fund 2,000 Total $16,000 The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $55,500 for Highways and Streets. Summer & Winter Maintenance TOWN OF DUMMER, NH 6. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2,775 for Welfare. Direct Assistance $ ,500 1 Human Services 500 Tri-County Community Action 775 Total $2,775 The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 7. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000 to be added to the truck capital reserve fund previously established. The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 8. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $80,000 to be added to the road repair and reconstruction capital reserve fund and to appoint the Selectmen as agents to expend from this fund. The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $10,000 to be added to the West Dummer Bridge capital reserve fund previously established. The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 10. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $4,150 for the Town Library. The Selectmen recommend this appropriation. 1 1. To see if the Town will vote to sell tax map lot U 1, L 40, acquired by tax deed, to the adjoining owner for $3,200, provided the lot will be aggregated to the adjoining property and will not remain a separate lot of record, and to authorize the Selectmen to act as agents to carry out this transaction. The Selectmen recommend this article. TOWN OF DUMMER, NH 12. To see if the Town will vote to spend the entire 2002 Pontook Hydro Limited Partnership Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) and commit none of this PILT to the Hydroelectric Fund. The Selectmen recommend this article. 13. To see if the Town will vote to sell the Carlton Holt homestead back to Carlton Holt for the sum of $5,050.27, which represents back taxes plus $500 estimated legal expenses, to hold the mortgage for five years at a current bank mortgage rate, and to authorize the Selectmen to act as agents to carry out this transaction under authority of RSA 80:80 VI. The Selectmen recommend this article. 14. Polling hours in the Town of Dummer are now 8:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Shall we place a question on the state election ballot to change polling hours so that polling hours shall open at 11:00 A.M. and close at 7:00 P.M. for all regular state elections beginning the year 2004. 15. To transact any other business that may legally come before this meeting. AM Polls will be open from 1 1 :00 to 7:00 PM.
