I express my profound sense of reverence to my supervisor and head of our laboratory Dr. Medina for his constant guidance, support, motivation and untiring help during my predoctoral stay at CIB. His in-depth knowledge on a broad spectrum of different microscope techniques and cellular biology topics has been extremely beneficial for me. He has given me enough freedom to explore on my own and at the same time the guidance to recover when my steps faltered. I will always remember his calm and relaxed nature, and the way he asks “YES!
