Since its inception in 2002, the conference hasbeenheld16timesin6differentcountriesandthe17theditionin2018washeldin Saint-Malo, France, during September 5–7. We wish to thank all of the authors who submitted their work. This year, AdHoc-Nowreceived52submissionsand21paperswereacceptedforpresentationas full contributions after a rigorous review process involving the Technical Program Committee (TPC) members, some external reviewers, and the TPC chairs. Moreover, due to the high quality of the received submissions, 6 papers were accepted as short contributions. Finally, AdHoc-Now 2018 had two papers by invited speakers. The AdHoc-Now 2018 program was organized in six sessions grouping the con- tributions into the following topics: Routing in Low Power Networks; 5G and mmWave; Low Power Wide Area Networks; Mobile Communications and Networks; Distributed Systems and Architectures; Testbeds and Real-World Deployments. In eachofthesesessions, newideasanddirectionswerediscussedamongattendeesfrom both academia and industry, thus, providing an in depth and stimulating view on the new frontiers in the field of mobile, ad hoc and wireless computing. Theconferencewasalsoenrichedbythefollowingsixdistinguishedkeynotespeakers that completed a high-level scientific program: Pascal Thubert, George Oikonomou, LaurentToutain,LuigiAlfredoGrieco,AntonioSkarmeta,Marc-OliverPahl. WewouldliketothankallofthepeopleinvolvedinAdHoc-Now2018.Firstofall, we are grateful to the TPC members and the external reviewers for their help in providingdetailedreviewsofthesubmissions,toMaddalenaNurchis, ourproceedings chair, to Xenofon Fafoutis, Julien Montavont, Georgios Z.
