Dr. Lang is a fellow of the Institute ofMedicine,theAmericanAcademyofNursing,theCollegeofPhysiciansofPhiladel- phia and an honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing in London. She was awardedhonorarymembershipintheAmericanAssociationofCollegesofNurses.She is the 2001 recipient of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations ErnestA.CodmanAward.In2002shereceivedtheJessieS.ScottAward fromtheAmericanNursesAssociation. Toalldeans,faculty,staff,students,andsupporterswhoaresuccess- fullypioneeringintheintegrationofnursingeducation,researchand practice to improve health care for people in the 21st century.
