As you can see, for the first time the AIANYS Architect’s Desk
Reference is digital! This format is much more user friendly with
several ways to search for members and firms and links to various
resources. You will still have access to all of the information that
was in the printed version, just in a different way. This directory
will now also be updated on a regular basis, so it is always current.
By linking this to the AIANYS website, the public will now, for the
first time, have access to all of this information as well!
The firm profiles will now be linked directly to the firm’s websites
and contact emails. If you click on any of the advertising, you
will be sent directly to the company’s website. All of the ads
and graphics are also now in full color. By offering a digital-only
directory, we are also conserving precious resources and practicing
AIA’s philosophy of sustainability.
Also, as a reminder, this year will be the first ever Tri State
Convention hosted by AIANYS, AIA New Jersey and AIA
Pennsylvania scheduled for September 21-23 at Bally’s in Atlantic
City. This design conference will feature continuing education
classes (in 1, 2 and 3 hour increments), tours, two keynote
sessions, an ice-breaker reception, the AIANYS Design Awards
Dinner & Presentation, a one day Product Showcase, and a Tri-
