Why waste your time wanting, wishing or complaining about not having *«$$*> "things". The fact is that many people are uninterested in doing what it takes to realize their own dreams. Maybe the reason many people fail to succeed is because people have a hidden fear of success and will, in fact, do things that *F are completely opposite to what they want. According to Tony Wagner and a A _ 1 WAI collection of authors who wrote "Change Leadership: A Practical Guide to ' Cft'S-e Oc Transforming Our Schools", people have competing commitments that actually .S' cancel out any momentum to change non-productive behaviors. $K Every East Windsor High School student, as an individual, should think •V: positive thoughts, write-out your plans for success and take the necessary action / ?jyV^4l&l j v, KMofTJL steps to duplicate all that was successful while eliminating that which was not successful. You should also identify new habits that put you closer to your ^ ^HvV._ -£yun\^Qo^ dreams and further away from the distractions that side track your overall motivation. Start out with short range goals that you know are attainable. Dream it, see it, feel it, enjoy it, appreciate it, protect it and share it with someone important to you. ^f'"~ <^d This is YOUR life! Take PRIDE in it! Fill your life FULL of your DREAMS! s& , ,w To paraphrase Langston Hughes' poem, "Hold fast to your dreams for if V WlMl Di / ^ dreams die, life is like a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold on to your dreams for if dreams go, Life is a frozen field covered with snow where nothing can grow." Hold on to your dreams for "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in ^ <5 rising every time we fall."~Confucius Principal w, Mr. David Chambers ! A 0 W* i so 'S' Dedication The Class of 2007 would like to dedicate the yearbook to Mr. George Croft. Mr. Croft is a well-known and well liked social studies teacher, coach of the Girls' & Boys' Indoor Track team and coach of the Boys' Track and Field team. He successfully coached the Boys' Track and Field team to the NCCC Conference Championship in 2006. Mr. Croft was chosen as East Windsor's Teacher of Year. An honor so well deserved. In addition, he has also traveled with our school on various trips around the world. You can often find him in the hallways chatting with students. He is more than a teacher, he is also a friend. Thank you for all you've done for us, Mr. Croft. We will miss you next year! The Class of 2007 would also like to thank their advisors, Mrs. Chasse and Ms. Archer for all the hard work and time that they have contributed to our class. We couldn't have done it without you and your dedication.
