Members present: Sarah Burks, Co-Chair, Tracy Skahan, Geraldine Tremblay,
Chris Costello, Ellen Aamodt

Minutes

1. Directors’ Update:

G. Tremblay reported on the:

 Thomas, which is a bust of Cyrus’s father that we are going to try to
get a cast of
 Two landscape paintings (Salt Lake and Snow Storm) that we will be
receiving
 Dallin self portrait that the cost to restore is approximately $3750
which we are going to try to get a grant to pay for

2. Collections/Curatorial:

J. McGough reported on a print of the Scout, number 7001, based off of
a Cyrus painting (maybe the View from the Hilltop).

H. Leavell reported that we met our fundraising goal for 2019 and then
we discussed the soiree, specifically:

 Food. Having the food donated and managed by Eileen Messina;
 Ideas for tables, chair, decorations, plates, utensils, etc.
 Alcohol. That we would purchase.
 The initial draft of the Play;
 Cost for tickest ($75);
 Maybe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will help with
the food.

3. Operations/Facilities:

Downstairs door – same issue that it gets stuck and can’t open.

4. Review of Minutes:

E. Aamodt made a motion to approve the minutes of December 10, 2019
as corrected. G. Tremblay seconded. Unanimously approved.

5. Volunteers’ Report:

J. McGough distributed and summarized the volunteer reports. G.
Tremblay made a motion to accept the volunteer reports. E. Aamodt
seconded. Unanimously approved.

6. Events Calendar:

We discussed the calendar generally and the following:
 H. Leavell lecture on 10/22/2020
 AOTG September 2020
 Unveiling/curator talk for Auvers for the Hidden treasure
 An outing with members (e.g., archery, etc.) set up by Nancy
 Boston by Foot is doing an event through the Arlington Continuing
Education

Meeting adjourned at 8:45pm
Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 7:00pm
